Jazz, born out of the Black American experience, has evolved into a global art form that models democratic ideals through improvisation, listening, and collective creation. April 30, celebrated each year as International Jazz Day, connects musicians and communities in more than 190 countries through a shared language of expression and dialogue.

The 2025 edition of International Jazz Day was celebrated in more than 190 countries on April 30, with Abu Dhabi selected as the Global Host City.

The Ronnie Laws & Doug Carn Experience will celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with a special concert, which will be livestreamed.

International Jazz Day’s All-Star Global Concert to be webcast worldwide on Sun., Apr. 30 at 4 pm EDT and to feature Dianne Reeves, Marcus Miller, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Christian McBride and many others.

The 10th Anniversary of International Jazz Day, the world's largest annual celebration of jazz, features a series of virtual programs, culminating in an all-star concert.

Bassist Christian McBride partnered with the audiophile music service Qobuz on an exclusive studio EP, releasing just in time for International Jazz Day.

Taking place this Friday and Saturday, the inaugural Bayfront Jazz Festival will feature Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chucho Valdés, Dee Dee Bridgewater and more.

April 30 will bring the International Jazz Day All-Star Global Concert, with artists from across the world taking part in another digital edition of the show, in addition to several other events.
