Blue Note Jazz Festival

Blue Note Jazz Festival returns throughout June at venues in NYC, featuring Chucho Valdes and Paquito D’Rivera, John Scofield, Lisa Fischer, Robert Glasper, Pat Metheny, Ron Carter, Buddy Guy and many others.

"Blood Count," the Billy Strayhorn ballad, provides fine fodder for a trio of Charles Lloyd, Bill Frisell and Thomas Morgan, as heard on the forthcoming album 'Trios: Chapel.'

"I want to make myself more present in the music," reflects bassist Vicente Archer. He opens up about this and other pandemic realizations on Let Me Tell You 'Bout It, with Greg Bryant.

Sony Presents the Blue Note Jazz Festival will run from June 15 through Aug. 15, in the club and at SummerStage in Central Park.
