New York Yankees legend and jazz guitarist Bernie Williams and violinist Katia Lindor join SportsJam with Doug Doyle to talk about their upcoming concert at Carnegie Hall on January 13. Katia is the wife of New York Mets superstar Francisco Lindor. The event will certainly have a flavor of Puerto Rican culture.
Bernie Williams, a four-time World Series champion, will perform with award-winning tenor Jonathan Tetelman for an evening uniting opera, jazz, and sports. Tetelman performs popular Verdi and Puccini arias, Latin classics, and Broadway hits with Williams, members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and pianist William Hicks. Williams performs jazz with Ari Hoenig, John Benitez, and Michael Bernabe.
Special guests include Knicks icon Stephon Marbury, violinist Katia Reguero Lindor, and journalist Darren Rovell.
