Princeton is partnering with the state of New Jersey to form a major artificial intelligence hub.
The hub will bring together AI researchers, start up companies and New Jersey universities and colleges to advance the use of artificial intelligence. Princeton University President Christopher Ludwig Eisgruber says this is the future.
"Together we will leverage Princeton's leadership in AI and the strengths of the Central New Jersey region to establish an integrated hub of AI activity."
Governor Murphy says its expected to generate economic activity for the Princeton area and create good paying jobs. The hub is also expected to eventually guide governments and public entities on AI implementation. An inaugural convening on AI at the hub will take place at Princeton in April.
