On her third album, "Fantome", vibraphonist Sasha Berliner nullifies genre conventions, presenting her modernistic approach with an invitation to the listener to come along, and listen to what is possible when tradition vanishes, a Fantome to her expression, allowing for new paths, without the confines of Category. The result is an exhilarating collection of originals, alongside an inspiring out of the box display on the Billy Strayhorn nugget "U.M.M.G.".
Sasha is joined here by pianists/keyboardists Taylor Eigsti and Lex Korten, bassist Harish Raghavan, drummer Jongkuk Kim, and special guests David Adewumi on trumpet and Rico Jones on tenor sax.
