Drummer, composer and bandleader Johnathan Blake is having a blast at the 2024 Newport Jazz Festival.
One of Blake's appearances came on Friday, August 2 with the Bill Frisell Four, joining the legendary Frisell with Gerald Clayton and Gregory Tardy.
WBGO's Jim Crimaldi caught up with Blake after that performance.
