On Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, the Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival was held at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Headliners included Pat Metheny, Samara Joy, Chucho Valdes, Emmet Cohen, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Cory Wong, Tower of Power and many others. Despite inclement weather on Saturday, the festival was at near capacity for both days. Enjoy a gallery of photos from the festival, above.
In addition, WBGO hosted a trip to the festival for more than two dozen members and listeners. Participants received local lodging and reserved seating for both days, as well as on-site amenities.
