Saxophonist David Sanborn has always been curious, especially when it comes to the creative process. His new podcast, As We Speak, gives him the opportunity to sit down with some of the most creative minds in the arts to talk about their unique creative process and much more. David's guests for Season One include Kurt Elling, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Don Was, Terri Lyne Carrington, Maria Schneider, John McLaughlin, Immanuel Wilkins, and a two-part, exclusive talk with his idol, Sonny Rollins. As We Speak is a production of WBGO Studios.

David Sanborn has released 24 albums, won six Grammy Awards, and has had eight Gold albums and one Platinum. Having inspired countless other musicians, Dave has worked in many genres which typically blend instrumental pop, R&B and traditional jazz. He released his first solo album Taking Off in 1975 but has been playing the saxophone since before he was in high school when he was inspired by the great Chicago blues artists near his hometown of St. Louis.
