The Afro-Semitic Experience

The Afro-Semitic Experience is a Connecticut-based jazz band whose repertoire reflects the African-American and Jewish musical traditions. The septet has been playing for 25 years and will appear at a synagogue in Westfield, NJ this coming Friday.

WBGO’s Jon Kalish caught up with its co-founders.
