Three long-time friends in NY, NJ and Connecticut keep public TV cooking show on the air

Manhattan chef Sara Moulton is the host of the public television series Sara’s Weeknight MealsA veteran of the Food Network and Gourmet Magazine, Moulton is about five feet tall but because of her lifetime of culinary knowledge, she’s considered a giant in the world of food television.

WBGO’s Jon Kalish has the story of how three women have kept her public TV show going into its 12th season.

Doug Doyle has been News Director at WBGO since 1998 and has taken his department to new heights in coverage and recognition. Doug and his staff have received more than 250 awards from organizations like PRNDI (now PMJA), AP, New York Association of Black Journalists, Garden State Association of Black Journalists and the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists.
