The Mazel Tov Cocktail Party

A couple of New York City musicians spent time at a chamber music retreat in rural upstate New York during the early months of the pandemic. Their planned two-week stay morphed into three months. The he thriving folk dance scene they were exposed to in the Adirondack Mountains ended up taking their new musical project in an unexpected direction and a project called Mazel Tov Cocktail Party.

WBGO's Jon Kalish has more on the project and those involved.
