The Rhythm Method: On Time
Brooklyn based string quartet The Rhythm Method returns to the Morris Museum after their debut during the 2021 season of Lot of Strings with a multifaceted program exploring themes of time. This musical journey literally takes the audience through time and space; beginning outside of the Bickford Theatre with Steve Reich’s Pendulum Music, equal parts sculpture and composition, and continues in the theatre with works by Marina Kifferstein, Paul Pinto, and the world premiere of a Live Arts commission by local composer, Kailyn Williams. This concert is part of a two-concert series, On Time, which includes a concert on May 15 by percussion virtuoso, Britton-René Collins.

One Night Only: An Evening with Norm Lewis highlights Norm’s illustrious career on stage, including his leading turns in Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Porgy and Bess, and Sweeney Todd.
Larry Fuller Trio
Larry Fuller is an internationally acclaimed American jazz pianist, band leader, and composer known by critics and fans to ”swing like a beast!”. He is a Yamaha-endorsed Artist. Larry Fuller hails from Toledo, Ohio. Early in his career, Fuller’s undeniable talent earned him the position of musical director and pianist for vocalist Ernestine Anderson, pianist for drummer Jeff Hamilton’s Trio, and final pianist in legendary bassist Ray Brown’s Trio. He has also performed, toured and recorded with guitarist-vocalist John Pizzarelli.

Sam Newsome Prepared Trio performs from the Clemente. Suggested minimum donation is $5. Donations go towards Arts for Art's Artists and Friends fundraising campaign. Stephane Wrembel's Django New Orleans
Stephane Wrembel presents Django New Orleans on the 2nd night of his annual Django A Gogo Music Festival & Guitar Campcelebrating the music of legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. In addition to Wrembel on guitar, performers include Aurora Nealand (sax/vocals), David Welch (guitar), Daisy Castro (violin), Joe Correia (tuba), Scott Kettner (drums), David Langlois (washboard) and surprise guests blending the traditional sounds of New Orleans with the voices of gypsy jazz guitars with the group performing traditional New Orleans songs with a Reinhardt touch, and traditional Gypsy songs with New Orleans sounds from swing to second lines.
The Queen Of Soul: A Tribute To Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin is recognized as the most successful female recording artist in history. Musician, vocalist, and composer Damien Sneed pays homage to the Queen of Soul with fresh renditions of her most cherished hits. Backed by an accomplished cast of jazz, gospel, and soul musicians and vocalists, including four-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Karen Clark Sheard of the legendary gospel group The Clark Sisters, this multi-media tribute is a tender and spiritual reflection upon the life of a music icon.
