Comedian Maria Bamford is revered for her deeply personal comedy about mental illness as well as her dead-on impressions. Stephen Colbert called her his “favorite comedian on earth” and Judd Apatow said she is “the funniest woman in the world.” Maria is the first female comic to have two half-hour Comedy Central Presents specials.

Acclaimed trombonist, composer and producer Delfeayo Marsalis has also dedicated his career to music theatre and education. He is known for his “technical excellence, inventive mind and frequent touches of humor” (Los Angeles Times). A New Orleans native, he is the brother of renowned trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.

VTY Jazz Arts proudly presents another Sunday Serenade live and in-person at the spacious Cutting Room. This tribute will be to the great West Coast pianist Hampton Hawes. Features artist are Rick Gearmanson piano, Kiyoshi Kitagawa bass and Victor Lewis will round out the trio on Drums.
