THE NEWARK PORCHFEST returns to the Historic Forest Hill neighborhood on Saturday, September 24th from noon to 6 pm (Rain date: Sunday, the 25th). This FREE family-friendly event organized by the Forest Hill Community Association will feature professional and amateur performing and visual artists, as well as food trucks serving a variety of refreshments. Neighbors make their beautiful porches available to serve as community stages showcasing an extraordinary range of talented artists. Explore over 80 antique fire trucks from the Mid-Atlantic States on display throughout the WheatonArts campus! Now in its 41st year, the Fire Muster & Fire Fighter's Family Day, presented by the Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade, takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Highlights include water pumping displays of fire hoses into the lake, a Firematic Flea Market, apparatus judging and awards presentation, and the dramatic exit of the fire trucks' driving off the grounds at the end of the event.

Fire Muster is FREE and open to the public, part of "Family Days! Presented by PNC Arts Alive!" All WheatonArts exhibitions and artist demonstrations are free for the day as well. Learn more at wheatonarts.org.

On Saturday, August 6, The Ingrid Jensen Four, a quartet of
internationally acclaimed jazz virtuosos headed by trumpeter Jensen, will make a rare
return local appearance in Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT)’s Music in the Box
