Darryl Yokley Band
The Darryl Yokley Band will be in concert at the Englewood Public Library, on Thursday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m. on the library’s front plaza. This will be the 2nd concert in the library's 10th annual Summer Jazz Concert Series - "Jazz Under the Stars". This acclaimed series takes place every Thursday evening at 7:30 from June 23 through August 25. The concert series is free and open to the public. No registration is needed, but library parking is very limited. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church one block north at 113 Engle St.
Critically acclaimed saxophonist Darryl Yokley has been recognized as a very talented composer and arranger by The New York Times, Downbeat Magazine, and more for writing unforgettable tunes for his band Sound Reformation, which recently released their second album Pictures at an African Exhibition.

Make Music Day
The Englewood Public Library is pleased to announce their participation in the community-wide Make Music Englewood, a family friendly celebration of music featuring music makers far and wide.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 21 from approximately 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.(10 p.m. at the Library) at three separate locations in Englewood; the Library, Veteran’s Park, and Mackay Park, with additional venues possible. If needed, the rain date is scheduled for Friday, June 24.
All genres will be included, from Jazz to Rock, to R & B to Pop and much more.
The library is actively seeking music makers who want to be part of this fun and festive day. Music makers of all ages and levels who wish to volunteer their services for free are welcome. Those interested in signing up and performing on that day can go to the event website at https://www.makemusicday.org/englewood/
Make Music Englewood is North New Jersey’s installment of Make Music Day, a worldwide celebration held every June 21st in over 1,000 locations in 120 countries, modeled after La Fête de la Musique which began in the 1980s to showcase the rich musical culture of Paris. As with all Make Music Day events, Make Music Englewood is free to the public.

Bloomingdale School of Music 22nd Annual Performathon & Musical Carnival
Bloomingdale School of Music presents the 22nd Annual Performathon & Musical Carnival on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10am – 3pm at their beloved brownstone, 323 W. 108th Street, NYC. Join the BSM community for live non-stop performances, music-themed carnival games and prizes in support of Bloomingdale's mission to provide open access to quality music education. About The Vision Festival
Founded in 1996, the Vision Festival is New York City's longest continuously running jazz festival. Now in its 26th year, this festival of music, dance, poetry, and visual art is heralded as “one of New York’s most essential art events” (New York Times). Sal "The Voice" Valentinetti and His Big Band
Born August 26, 1995, Sal was raised in the small town of Bethpage, New York where he still resides today. From a very young age Sal was influenced by his grandmother to love the musical genius of the classic crooner sounds of Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. At the young age of fifteen Sal realized the hidden talent he possessed and began performing his flawless tribute to the great Frank Sinatra across New York. In 2016, Sal made his debut on Season 11 of the NBC hit show "America's Got Talent." That night, The 20-year-old college student went from delivering Pizzas for his cousin's restaurant, to delivering what's considered one of the best performances in AGT history. Before long, the world would come to know and admire him as "Sal the Voice". Since racking up over 350 million views worldwide with his captivating AGT audition, the celebrated charismatic crooner has been invited to appear in hundreds of sold out solo performances on stages around the world. We May Be Right - A tribute to Billy Joel
Back by popular demand, the powerhouse ensemble We May Be Right will deliver an electrifying special Valentine’s Day performance at the Brook Arts Center on Saturday, February 11 at 8 pm. Ronstadt Revue
Gesenia Erolin and the Ronstadt Revue live at the Brook Arts center on AUGUST 6 at 8 pm.This talented vocalist and her band cover every style of music that Linda Ronstadt performed during her illustrious 40+ year career. Gesenia not only has the look, tone, and vocal strength of Linda Ronstadt, she grew up in a bilingual household, singing both Spanish and English songs since her earliest days.
