The Englewood Public Library is pleased to announce their participation in the community-wide Make Music Englewood, a family friendly celebration of music featuring music makers far and wide.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 21 from approximately 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.(10 p.m. at the Library) at three separate locations in Englewood; the Library, Veteran’s Park, and Mackay Park, with additional venues possible. If needed, the rain date is scheduled for Friday, June 24.
All genres will be included, from Jazz to Rock, to R & B to Pop and much more.

The library is actively seeking music makers who want to be part of this fun and festive day. Music makers of all ages and levels who wish to volunteer their services for free are welcome. Make Music Englewood is North New Jersey’s installment of Make Music Day, a worldwide celebration held every June 21st in over 1,000 locations in 120 countries, modeled after La Fête de la Musique which began in the 1980s to showcase the rich musical culture of Paris. As with all Make Music Day events, Make Music Englewood is free to the public.
