Parris, the Grammy nominated jazz, blues and pop guitarist and Latin Grammy-nominated guitarist and New York Yankees great Bernie Williams have known each other for two decades. They’ve been playing together at clubs for years and released the single “Good Friends” in 2024.

When The New York Yankees retired Bernie Williams' #51 Jersey at Yankee Stadium in 2015. Gil Parris was right there in the stands to cheer him on.
