Pittsburgh native and jazz pianist Howie Alexander has performed with likes of Stanley Turrentine and many others as a sideman or headliner at venues from his hometown to Monaco.

Alexander is the 2024 B.U.I.L.D. Artist-in-Residence at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. He performed live two days at the 2024 Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival.

The Duquesne University grad is also the Artistic Director of the Afro-American Music Institute in Pittsburgh.
