On this episode of AOS, sportswriter, author and historian John D. Lukacs talks about the impact of the legendary sports commentator Beano Cook. Lukacs became great friends with his mentor. Beano asked John to write his memoir.

Cook died in 2012, but Lukacs took the necessary time to write a beautiful tribute to Beano in Haven't They Suffered Enough?: An Unbelievable Career in Sports, PR and Television (White Valley Press).
