The collective BEATrio is made up of some of today's most creative improvisers: banjoist Béla Fleck, known for his integral part in the Flecktones, his brilliant collaborations with pianist Chick Corea, and his reimagining of Rhapsody in Blue for banjo; harpist Edmar Castañeda has led his own bands, created with Paquito D'Rivera, Hiromi, and Gregoire Maret; masterful drummer Antonio Sánchez lit up the world with his work with guitarist Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden, Chick Corea, and Michael Brecker.
Touring this Spring, Fleck, Castaneda, and Sanchez, with their fearless exploration, delighted audiences with their strong melodies, gorgeous harmonies, and grooves with twists and turns that delighted and showed this trio was having a fantastic time.
