- His becoming cancer-free
- the publishing of his memoir On That Note
- the release of several successful trio recordings
- his signing to Yamaha
- Michael joining his sons Nat & Alex Wolff onstage at Madison Square Garden in NYC, who opened for Mega-pop star Billie Eilish.
