Under the leadership of Zev Feldman and George Klabin, the mission of the Resonance Record Label is to uncover musical nuggets for music fans to immerse themselves. They've never let us down. Their newest discovery is a performance by vocal giant Al Jarreau, from the Washington, D.C. club "Childe Harold"(a salute to music industry legend Harold Childs) in 1976.
In addition to early takes on "Take Five" and "You Don't See Me", and other Jarreau joints, we revel in the singer's memorable ability to make tunes like James Taylor's "Fire And Rain" and Frank Foster's Basie evergreen "Shiny Stockings" his very own.
The tribute to Jarreau's spirit is further documented with interviews with Nile Rodgers, Dionne Warwick, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Will Downing and others, all insightful testimonies to Al Jarreau and his amazing creative spirit.
