WBGO Archive: A 2002 conversation between legendary announcer Michael Bourne and NEA Jazz Master Roy Haynes

On October 7, 2002 two legendary figures got together on WBGO to talk about the music they love.

The late WBGO announcer Michael Bourne spent an hour that day with NEA Jazz Master and pioneering drummer Roy Haynes.

Haynes died on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the age of 99.
