Since 2018, Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Jazz Orchestra has offered talented teenage musicians from across the country the opportunity to rehearse, perform, and tour with world-class artists. This year’s ensemble is preparing for its annual performance at Carnegie Hall on July 20th and its debut tour to South Africa. The ensemble made up of 22 musicians, is led by artistic director and trumpeter Sean Jones and features special guest vocalist Alicia Olatuja.
