Actor Tommy Davidson adds a new title to his roster: Musician.

Many of us remember the hundreds of laughs Tommy Davidson served up as an original cast member of the popular (and monumental) sketch comedy series "In Living Color." In the ensuing years, he's starred and appeared in countless movies such as Strictly Business and Ace Ventura, and who can forget that priceless moment between him and Martin Lawrence on the show "Martin." (During this conversation, he shares a fun fact about that scene and lets us in on a little secret or two.)

Tommy is still making people laugh as he will be doing at The Stress Factory in New Brunswick, NJ tonight until Saturday, but he says he is more than ready to start a new chapter in his career: Music.

He talks with the "Lights Out" host (and fan!) Nicole Sweeney about life, comedy, and his love of music. Tommy has already received a nod of approval from saxophonist Dave Koz (with whom he has recorded a song). His new single, "I Know" featuring Richard Elliot, is a testament that Tommy is serious about making us do more than laugh. He wants to make us sing too.

Nicole Sweeney is a Queens-born, Long Island-raised music lover. Growing up in New York with West Indian parents, she was surrounded by all types of music every day and the influence of jazz was constant.
