This Wednesday at 8 p.m., join Grammy-nominated pianist Geoffrey Keezer and saxophonist Roxy Coss for a special concert presentation, hosted by Jazz After Hours host and Jazz United cohost Greg Bryant.
Keezer is no stranger to WBGO: a vital presence on the scene since his tenure as a teenage phenom in Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, he has since carved out a major career as a pianist and composer-bandleader. (His most recent album, On My Way to You, was prominently featured in Take Five.)
And while Coss is a generation his junior, she is just as familiar a presence to our audiences — with her own bands, in special units like New Faces, and as a spokesperson and organizer behind the Women in Jazz Organization.
