The Bronx- March 2024 Since 2011, Casita Maria’s South Bronx Culture Festival (SBCF) has celebrated the vibrant cultures and communities of the South Bronx through an annual performance series anchored by a new theme each year. This year’s theme, Born in El Barrio. Raised in the South Bronx. celebrates Casita Maria’s 90th anniversary and our enduring commitment to serve the community. The 2024 Festival line-up includes music, art and dance from the diasporas of Brazil, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the confluence of cultures that is New York City.
Experience the electrifying vibes of Under Cover Music Fest on Sat, Jun 1st, 2PM-10 PM at the Sloan Street parking lot in South Orange, NJ. Groove to hits from Beyoncé to The Grateful Dead and more, performed by sensational cover bands at this FREE community event. Indulge in delicious bites from local eateries and chilled brews from regional brewers available for purchase. Plus, enjoy a kid zone courtesy of the South Mountain YMCA, games, and much more! Take your experience to the next level by purchasing a VIP tent for you and your group, limited quantities are available for purchase. This event is hosted by South Orange Downtown and South Orange Village with support from sponsors, Mark Murphy's Music, Pollock Properties Group, PSE&G and Marigold Pediatric Dentistry.
