Max Bessesen is a young saxophonist and composer based in New York City. His 2020 debut album Trouble (Ropeadope Records) features Cornettist Ron Miles and garnered praise from Jazzwise, SomethingElse! and JazzTimes. He has performed with Bobby Broom, Greg Ward, and Russ Johnson among others, and his work is supported by The Luminarts Foundation, Pathways to Jazz, and The Frank Huntington Beebe Fund.
