An Evening of Jazz and Spoken Word with legendary artists! This event will pair Danny Simmons -- the Co Creator of Def Poetry Jam and an accomplished Author, Poet and Painter -- with legendary two-time Grammy-winning bassist Ron Carter, whose appearances on 2,221 recording sessions make him the most-recorded jazz bassist in history. Also joining Simmons and Carter will be Carter’s Golden Striker Trio and spoken-word artists ursula rucker, Derick Cross and Bonafide Rojas.
