Halsey Fest is returning on September 23 from 3-8pm to welcome back residents, employees and students to Downtown Newark. The community street festival will run along Halsey Street between Central Ave to New Street. The event features music, games, art making, food, drinks, performances, mascots, giveaways, sampling and much more! Attendees are invited to reacquaint with their favorite Newark businesses and meet new ones that have opened during the pandemic. This year, the festival’s lead sponsors are the Newark Alliance along with Rutgers University-Newark and co-sponsor Prudential, Newark Downtown District and Hanini.
