Murphy describes the power of his trio with bassist, Eric Wheeler and drummer, Jeff “Tain” Watts. He explains, “Tain" and Eric provide unparalleled rhythmic and harmonic support. Not only do they lay out a comfortable foundation (sometimes a cushion) for anything musically that I’m trying to do, but they contribute while supporting me in a way that’s quite unique and often telepathic.
