Arts for Art is proud to pay tribute to the late, great pianist, activist and educator, Connie Crothers. She represents what is best in our community of Multicultural Improvised Creative Arts. She believed in and actively fostered community. She stood up for social justice. She held spontaneous, improvised music as the highest creative goal. Most of the participating artists studied or played with Connie, and they are all living this tradition of community, compassion and justice.
