Saxophonist Camille Thurman will be performing with drummer Darrell Green and the Darrell Green Trio at the Englewood Public Library, on Thursday, July 15, at 7:30 p.m. on the library’s front plaza. This will be the 4th concert in the library's 9th annual Summer Jazz Concert Series - "Jazz Under the Stars". This acclaimed series takes place every Thursday evening at 7:30 from June 24 through August 26. The concert series is free and open to the public, but registration is required at tinyurl.com/JUTSgreen For the concert series, there is a maximum of 100 guests; Englewood library cardholders only (unless maximum not reached); please bring your own chair or blanket and masks/social distancing is urged. In the event of rain, the concert would be rescheduled to Sunday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. Downbeat magazine and SF Jazz rising star saxophonist and vocalist Camille Thurman collaborates with the incomparable drummer Darrell Green for a performance debuting original music written during quarantine. They were featured on NPR this past June for a series called “Alone Together Duets,” and recently completed a tour of Africa sponsored by the U.S. State Department and American Music Abroad.
