In homage to Miles Davis’ ballad on his 1959 iconic album Kind of Blue, join JAZZ HOUSE KiDS and its presenting sponsors, BDP Holdings and Montclair Center BID for a very special evening as we celebrate the 12th annual MONTCLAIR JAZZ FESTIVAL. The evening will include cocktails and delectable bites with accompaniment by the JAZZ HOUSE Alumni All-Stars, followed by a champagne toast with our Artistic Director, CHRISTIAN McBRIDE, and our special musical guest, DANIELLE PONDER. The evening culminates with an exclusive and area-premiere performance by singer DANIELLE PONDER who is a powerful storyteller for today through her authentic songwriting and unforgettable voice. Ms. Ponder performs just off the heels of her acclaimed Newport Jazz Festival debut receiving multiple standing ovations for her soulful and stirring performance.
