The WBGO Kids Jazz Concert Series brings world-renowned jazz musicians to concert halls and venues throughout Essex County, New Jersey. These hour-long concerts give young listeners the chance to discover the enjoyment of jazz, improvisation, and musical collaboration. Come join us on Saturday, December 2 in Maplewood for the next concert.
WBGO produces a monthly, free lunchtime concert series at Gateway 2 in Newark in partnership with C&K Properties. It's been a great way to expose audiences to our music, and give those working in downtown Newark a great lunchtime experience. We hope to see you at the next concert on December 6 at noon.

Each year, WBGO's Coat Drive collects hundreds of coats for those in need in our area by partnering with Newark organizations including Urban League, Ironbound Community Corp., NCC; Bethany Baptist Church, New Hope Baptist Church, Apostle House, East Orange Development Corp. and more. Stop by our headquarters at 54 Park Place in Newark to drop off a new or gently used, clean coat weekdays 9am-5pm.
The Newark Community Arts Calendar was created as a public service to promote the creativity and vitality of the arts scene in Newark, New Jersey. Upcoming community concerts, art exhibitions, theater events, and more are announced on-air through WBGO 88.3 FM and listed on wbgo.org.
