Jennings spoke to WBGO's Doug Doyle about why he's excited about this gig.

"The festival is in the heart of the community of Montclair. It's free. It exposes good live music and that's always a good thing. This project has been an amalgamation of many ideas I've been having in musical explorations. I grew up with a myriad of musical influences and I finally have been able to put these art forms and sub genres together. You're going to hear some swing, some groove, hip hop flavor. I have a DJ in my band who is part of the musical experience inside of the compositions. You are in for an entertaining 75 minutes."
