Newark celebrates the Max Roach Centennial with a documentary panel discussion and NJPAC tribute concert

Two events are planned in Newark to celebrate the Max Roach Centennial.

WBGO's Doug Doyle spoke with award-winning filmmaker Sam Pollard and drummer Nasheet Waits about the events (full interview above).
