Harlem Percussionist Warren Smith is still making music at the age of 88

Percussionist Warren Smith is still making music at the age of 88. The Harlem musician recently joined other jazz veterans at the home of one of his former students, the trombonist Craig Harris.

WBGO’s Jon Kalish dropped by to talk to Smith about his long career…

Doug Doyle has been News Director at WBGO since 1998 and has taken his department to new heights in coverage and recognition.
