  • Arts Culture and Community Activism (ACCA) Creates is an organization founded by Dr. Marcia Heard. ACCA Creates is a Newark-based organization that works toward giving underprivileged children access to the arts and teaching them to use them to advocate for themselves and unite communities.

    Every summer, ACCA Creates runs a free summer dance intensive for older participants, ranging from age 13 to 18 from Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 1. Students will spend their time specializing in hip hop and contemporary and the program will conclude with a performance.
