With different soundscape samples, improvised pieces, and interview segments, “Home” explores how sounds of home are shaping our aural landscapes in the present moment.

  • Carlos Jimenez, is an extraordinary flute player and vocalist as well as composer and band leader of Jazz, Latin jazz and Salsa. Cárlos has recorded and performed with Hilton Ruiz, Hector Martignon, Edy Martinez, Barry Harris, Earl May, LeRoy Williams, Oscar Hernandez, Stephane Rongetz, Sonny Bravo, and Dave Valentin, among others.
  • The Harlem Blues & Jazz Band in 1973 is one of the longest continually performing jazz groups in existence. With strong link to Louis Armstrong from its inception, an impressive number of musicians from the Classic and Swing eras have graced the group throughout the years, thereby giving an enviable authenticity and historical significance to the band's performances and recordings.
  • Clifton Anderson has created a unique place for himself in the world of Jazz, having worked with Sonny Rollins, and an "A list" of musical luminaries including Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Slide Hampton among others. Clifton showcases a variety of swinging originals; high energy straight-ahead, calypsos, funk and American standards.

  • Mauricio de Souza Trio at Moonstruck. The group will play jazz and Brazilian jazz standards, featuring the music of Tom Jobim, Milton Nascimento, Ivan Lins, Pat Metheny, Freddie Hubbard, and Wayne Shorter among others. The Trio will feature Mauricio de Souza on drums, Steve Myerson on piano, and Dave Kingsnorth on bass.
