  • Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) continues its Jazz Masters music series with the Willie Martinez Latin Jazz Quartet. Martinez, an accomplished drummer, percussionist, arranger/composer and vocalist, will be joined by Nicki Denner on piano/vocals, Bernie Minoso on bass, and Anton Denner on reeds and flute.

  • Arts for Art, The Clemente, and Deep Tones for Peace will present a 5-hour benefit concert to raise money to fund relief to Ukrainian people following the February 24th Russian invasion. On Friday, March 18th, over 50 musicians, dancers, and poets will come together and express solidarity through creativity. Mr. Assis is a composer of the new season NYC-Based Musical “Rio Uphill”. He also has recorded three albums: “Brazilian Vibes, Double Rainbow and Honey and Air.

    His new album "ROVANIO, The Music of Nanny Assis" with maestro Ron Carter, Chico Pinheiro, Mattan Klein, Randy Brecker, Igor Butman, Fred Hersch, Tolga Bilgin, Ulysses Owns, John Ellis and Dani Assis is coming up Summer 2022. Mr Assis shared the stage with Requinte Trio, Vinicius Cantuária, Eumir Deodato, Joao Donato, Kenny Baron and Paul Simon.
