  • Trinity's lunchtime concert series, Jazz at One, takes place every Monday from March 13 through May 1 at St. Paul's Chapel and features an eclectic mix of brilliant jazz artists in collaboration with JAZZHOUSE @ Trinity, a joint effort between Trinity and Jazz House KiDS.

May 25's virtual session features Joseph Andras’ Tomorrow They Won’t Dare To Murder Us, winner of the Prix Goncourt for first novel, one of the most prestigious literary awards in France. Set during the Algerian War of Independence, the novel is based on the true story of a young man named Fernand Iveton and a young politician named François Mitterrand. The program will be facilitated by Jennifer Sessions, an Associate Professor of History and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Virginia, and co-sponsored by the Princeton Public Library.   • In partnership with Yendor Theatre Company, playwright Pia Wilson leads this writing workshop for community members who aspire to tell their own stories or want to learn how to move their stories from the page to the stage. Wilson is a stage, screen, podcast and short story writer. Yendor Theatre Company commissioned a new play by Wilson which will be staged throughout Newark, including Clinton Hill, in August.

    Yvonnick Prené was already playing the harmonica professionally by the age of 17 in Parisian jazz clubs. He later earned a master’s degree in music at the Sorbonne University in Paris, in 2011 and while still enrolled, he moved to New York City, receiving multiple scholarships at the City College of New York, Columbia University, and at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.

    Prené has worked with top artists like Pasquale Grasso, Peter Bernstein, Kevin Hays, Bill Stewart, and many others. Come hear this French harmonica master in action on the Zinc stage!

  • On Saturday, June 3, Under Cover Music Fest will draw more than a thousand residents and visitors to the Sloan Street Lot in South Orange to enjoy great music from 9 cover bands with no cover change, dancing, local food, beer and kids activities.

    This year’s exciting line-up will feature the talent of world-class local musicians covering a diverse selection of the greatest hits from the Foo Fighters & The Pretenders (Mark Murphy’s Music Student Bands), Pearl Jam (Charlie Pollock & Friends), Rihanna (Mike Griot Presents: Vivian Sessoms), Chaka Khan (Autumn Jones), REM (South Orange Crush), Harry Styles (Misha Hankey & Mark Murphy’s Music Faculty Band), Tom Petty (Matt & The Moondogs) and Stevie Wonder (Curtis Winchester & Friends). Between sets DJ Thomas Schmid will be spinning the latest tunes to keep everyone dancing. The rain date for UCMF is Sunday, June 4 from 12-8PM.
