The Atlantic BKLN presents Jorge Luis Pacheco, a fiery young talent, hailing from Havana, Cuba, who is fast becoming a seasoned veteran, having performed at some of the most respected venues in the world. From Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York - the Jazz Capital of the World to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Pacheco wowed the crowd at New York’s Blue Note Jazz Festival and gained notoriety at the legendary Apollo Theater for the Lifetime Achievement Award ceremonies presented to living legend Herbie Hancock. Whether solo piano or with his quartet, Pacheco is staking his claim in the jazz world.

Stan Killian Trio featuring George Coleman Jr. with Will Slater, bass performs music from Killian's two previous albums, "Unified" & "Evoke" in the pianoless trio setting that was popularized by Sonny Rollins in the late 1950s.

Eugene Uman’s Convergence Project

The VJC’s artistic director, Eugene Uman (piano,composition) presents the culmination of a year’s worth of composing and collaborating.

Listeners can expect a “convergence” of the music he loves, including references to Colombian rhythms, swinging jazz and funk.

This year features Michael Zsoldos (saxophone), Jeff Galindo (trombone), & the group’s original rhythm section: Stomu Takeishi (bass) and Satoshi Takeishi (drums).


This year each concert has an in-person audience & a livestream component. You may purchase in-person tickets above &/or donate to the livestream. Please give generously and support live music.

Tickets are $20-40 sliding scale.

New York Classical Players (NYCP) presents Hommage à J.S. Bach, featuring the U.S. premiere of Vivian Fung’s Concerto for Two Violins and String Orchestra, as well as Eric Nathan’s Dancing with J. S. Bach No. 1, both of which draw inspiration from Bach’s musical innovations. The program also includes J.S. Bach’s beloved Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Concerto for Two Violins in D minor. NYCP Music Director Dongmin Kim conducts the concerts, which feature violinists Kristin Lee, Harriet Langley, and Brian Hong. This performance is less than 90 minutes and presented without intermission. Your donation is essential and will keep us doing our concerts FREE. Suggested suggested donation: $20/adults, $10/students and seniors.
