NYC Indoor Dining To Resume On Valentine's Day

Governor Andrew Cuomo is reopening indoor dining in New York City and has a plan to allow for weddings.

Starting on Valentine’s Day, Cuomo says Big Apple restaurants can welcome customers back inside at 25 percent capacity under strict COVID rules.

“Some restaurants say 25 percent isn’t enough. Look 25 percent is better than zero and that’s where we are now. If the numbers continue to get better, that number will go up.”

Cuomo is also allowing wedding receptions up to 150 people starting March 15th. The number can’t exceed 50 percent building capacity.  All people must be tested. Wedding events must be approved by the local health department.
