Amtrak

New York State officials are marking the completion of the Moynihan Train Hall.

Moynihan Hall connects to Penn Station underground into the nearby James Farley Post Office building, expanding Penn by 50 percent.

The 1.6 billion dollar project includes retail and dining and expanded waiting areas for LIRR and Amtrak customers and free WiFi.  Eric Gertler is the President of Empire State Development

“Moynihan is a fully functioning transit hub designed for New York. It will be an aggressive catalyst for the state’s economic growth.”

The Hall has a 92 foot high skylight with over an acre of glass.  It opens January First.
