The Ladybugs are a group that uniquely creates a musical mix of pop songs from the 20's into the 50's, also Brazilian songs, Spanish songs, Disney songs, and then some. Martina DaSilva (vocals and ukelele) and Vanessa Perea (vocals and percussion) harmonize beautifully with guitar, bass, and two trombones.
The band helped celebrate the opening of Hudson County Community College Dineen Hull Gallery's "Notes and Tones," an exhibit celebrating master printmaker Robert Blackburn. The exhibit was curated by Essye Klempner and is open through March 1st.
