We celebrate the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with weekend celebrations and events in the area including Grammy-nominated poet, author and journalist Kevin Powell’s presentation at Two River Theater…"What would Dr. King Say Now? How to Heal America"...

This Monday is the 30th anniversary of the holiday to celebrate the life of the civil rights leader, Baptist minister an political philosopher.

And jazz trombonist Craig Harris remembers seeing Dr. King speak in Hempstead back in the mid 60’s..
