Harlem Globetrotters President Keith Dawkins joins SportsJam with Doug Doyle to talk about the past, present and future of his legendary basketball team.

The originators of basketball style, influencers on today’s game, and skilled athletes of the highest order, the world-famous Harlem Globetrottershave showcased their iconic talents in 124 countries and territories on six continents since their founding in 1926.

The Globetrotters will be in action at Madison Square Garden on February 24 and at Cure Insurance Arena in Trenton on March 1.

In January 2022, Keith Dawkins was named president of the Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios. The veteran brand expert is pumping new life into the legendary basketball franchise. Dawkins has negotiated the revitalization of the famed basketball performance group with a weekly television series, "Harlem Globetrotters: Play It Forward," highlighting the team's charitable activities.

The Ridgewood, New Jersey resident met his wife while attending Ramapo College. At the May 2022 Commencement, Dawkins not only gave the address to students but he also received the President’s Alumni Award of Merit for his service-oriented leadership and continued advocacy of Ramapo.

Dawkins is proud of his two sons, the youngest is currently playing sports at Monmouth University.
