New Jersey’s ambitious music and arts festival North to Shore is back for its third year running from June 14th through June 29th in Atlantic City, Asbury Park and Newark.
Governor Phil Murphy and his wife First Lady Tammy Murphy came up with the idea several years ago. They were both on hand at NJPAC for yesterday’s lineup announcement.

Some of the performing acts include Gregory Porter (June 29 at NJPAC), George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic (June 29 at Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park), Stone Temple Pilots (June 26 at NJPAC), Third Eye Blind (June 20 at NJPAC) and many more.

Two of the festival’s other most anticipated events — LL COOL J's Rock The Bells (June 28 at Prudential Center in Newark) and HOT 97 Summer Jam (June 20 (Prudential Center) —will bring the energy and impact of hip-hop to Prudential Center in Newark.
WBGO's legendary announcer Felix Hernandez will host his Rhythm Revue Dance Party at Horizon Sounds of the City (June 27 at NJPAC Chambers Plaza).
Several comedians will perform at North to Shore including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Pete Davidson.

Once again, a portion of all ticket sales will directly benefit Growing Healthy Pantries – a partnership between Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Community FoodBank of New Jersey, FoodBank of South Jersey, and others.
