Scholar, long-time civil rights activist and former SNCC and CORE member Dr. James P. Garrett will be one of four guest speakers at this Saturday's (February 15) 45th annual Marion Thompson Wright Lecture Series. The popular Black History Month event will take place from 9:30am-3:30pm at the Paul Robeson Campus Center at Rutgers-Newark. The event is presented by the Clement A. Price Institute on Ethnicity, Culture and the Modern Experience.
